Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu and the Senior Special Assistant on Students Engagement to the president, Sunday Asefon have been commended over the distribution of rice as palliative to students union governments in various tertiary institutions of the country.
The President and the SSA were both commended by the President, Students’ Union Government, Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, Quadril Bamidele who said the food distributed has shown the government’s commitment in supporting and uplifting the students community.
Bamidele made this known in a statement signed and made available to newsmen on Saturday.
However, he urged federal government to do more in ensuring that more gestures and policies aimed at bettering the life of Nigerian students are introduced.
