- Born on February 1, 1968 in Ipoti-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
- He had his primary education at Our Saviours Anglican Primary School in Ipoti-Ekiti. His secondary education was also in Ekiti State. He later proceeded to Ondo State College of Arts and Science in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria.
- Ayefele worked briefly as a journalist and broadcaster at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan, where he also produced jingles and musical works on radio.
- He began his music career in 1997.
- Yinka Ayefele is a Nigerian music producer, gospel singer, journalist, entrepreneur, popular radio presenter, and founder of Fresh and Blast FM network of radio stations across south-western Nigeria.
- Other branches of Ayefele’s radio stations are opened in Abeokuta, Ado Ekiti, Akure, Osogbo and Lagos.
