Workers dismantling a collapsed bridge in the eastern German city of Dresden have stumbled upon an unexploded World War II-era bomb, authorities reported on Tuesday.
The discovery was made near the Carola Bridge over the Elbe River, prompting a cordoned-off area as bomb disposal specialists investigate the find.
This is not the first time a bomb has been discovered at the site.
On Monday, a 250-kilogram bomb was found during excavation work, but fortunately, it was determined to be harmless due to the absence of a detonator.
