The Oyo State government has increased the fare for Lagos-Ibadan Pacesetter Transport buses to N5,000, effective from February 1, 2025.
In a statement posted on the official X handle of Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services on Wednesday, the management informed customers about the new pricing.
“We would like to inform our valued customers about a change in our pricing structure for Ibadan and Lagos, effective February 1, 2025,” the statement read.
The management explained that the fare adjustment is necessary to continue providing quality transport services.

Recall Tribune Online reported on January 13 that the Oyo State Government, through the Pacesetter Transport Servic introduced air-conditioned buses for the Lagos-Ibadan route, offering modern amenities at an affordable fare of just N3,200.
It wrote, ”Buses to Lagos from Ibadan leave at 7 am, 10 am, 1 pm and 4 pm daily from Pacesetter Transport Service, Eleyele. Buses from Lagos to Ibadan leave at the same times each day from Ikeja Bus Terminal. All buses are fully airconditioned with free WiFi and charging ports.”
