Gospel movie producer and actor Moses Korede Are, popularly known as Baba Gbenro of Abattoir, has been laid to rest in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
The burial ceremony, held in his honor, was attended by well-wishers dressed in white and blue.
Photos from the solemn event, shared on X by Christian video podcast Zion Kulture on Friday, captured mourners gathered around his final resting place.

Tribune Online reports that Baba Gbenro passed away on November 14, 2024.
Baba Gbenro’s passing was announced by co-gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi on his verified Instagram page.
He wrote, “Heaven’s Gain Again.”
“A General Has Gone to Rest.”
Baba Gbenro, as he was fondly called by his fans, was one of the main actors in the popular Mount Zion series Abattoir.
He was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Calvary Movies Television.
