Police Patrol Adamawa Community After Night Attacks



The Adamawa State Police Command has deployed additional night patrol teams to Kofare-Agric area following reports of alleged night attacks and calls by residents for increased security presence.

The Command said the move was aimed at strengthening security and preventing criminal activities in the area, while investigations into the reported incidents are ongoing.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, said the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, reassured residents of the Command’s commitment to the protection of lives and property across the state.

“The Adamawa State Police Command has taken note of reports alleging night attacks in Kofare-Agric area and the call for increase of police patrols in the area.

“In response, night patrols have been intensified with the deployment of additional operational teams to strategic locations within the area to deter criminal activities,” the statement read.

According to the police, the reinforced patrols are part of broader proactive security measures being implemented in collaboration with sister security agencies and community stakeholders.

“While investigation into the reported incidents is ongoing, proactive security measures have been strengthened in collaboration with sister security agencies and community stakeholders,” the statement said.

The Command urged residents of Kofare-Agric to remain calm and continue to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and credible information.

“Members of the public are urged to remain calm and continue to provide timely and credible information to the Police through established channels,” it stated.
